Japanese Major Program

B.A. Degree in Japanese


The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures offers an undergraduate major in Japanese. The major program includes studies in language, literature, and linguistics. The total hours for a Japanese major are 55, in addition to 25 hours of prerequisites. A course counted for one category can not be counted for another category at the same time. Japanese majors interested in entering the Honors Program in DEALL should consult with the Undergraduate Director, Professor Naomi Fukumori.
