6th annual Korean Wind & Stream performance to be held November 8

The Korean Performance Research Program will present the Sungkyu Chris Lee Performance Series "2019 Wind & Stream: A Taste of Korean Music and Storytelling" on Friday, November 8 at McConnell Arts Center of Worthington, The Bronwynn Theatre (777 Evening St.). The 7:00 p.m. performance will be preceded by a 5:30 p.m. reception.

The event will host several artists from Korea and the U.S.: pansori stars Kim Tae Hee from Seoul and Kim Eun Su of Washington, DC; singer/dancer Kim Youn Hee from Houston; Janggo master Suwan Choi and saxophonist Jeff Chan duo from Chicago; Hilary Finchum-Sung of Ann Arbor on haegeum fiddle; Dan Miller and Chan Park of Columbus on danso flute and geomungo zither respectively; and a pansori skit by Ohio State students of Korean performance. Directed by Chan Park.

Free and open to the public by ticketed reservations only.
