Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Korean Minor Program

The minor in Korean consists of 15 credit hours of prerequisites and 14 semester credit hours of course work beyond the stated prerequisites. The purpose of the prerequisites is to give students a linguistic and cultural foundation upon which to build an understanding of Korea. The courses beyond the prerequisites are intended to provide more substantial training in the Korean language and further cultural understanding. Selections of courses are to be made with the advice and counsel of an adviser, and students should be aware that not all of the courses that are available for the minor are offered every year so that early and careful planning is advised.
