Join the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures (DEALL) for an inspiring evening with Jared Psigoda, entrepreneur, global business leader, and three-time Ohio State alumnus.
Jared earned bachelor's degrees in Chinese and Japanese and a master's degree in Chinese through Ohio State's Chinese Flagship Program. He took that training to China, where he co-founded and served as CEO of Reality Squared Games (R2Games), an international publisher of online and mobile games. Under his leadership, the company grew to more than 250 employees across offices in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Changsha, and became publicly listed in China.
Named to Forbes China 30 Under 30 in 2014, Jared was the only non-Chinese honoree that year. While in China, he earned an EMBA from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business and later attended Jack Ma's prestigious Hupan University, becoming the only foreign student in each program.
Jared later founded BitGuild, an early blockchain gaming platform, and Livestar, a studio building live-streaming and social applications for global audiences. Today, he is the founder of Renji Labs in New Albany, Ohio, where he develops family-centered AI applications and explores the future of artificial intelligence.
