The Ohio State Graduate School has announced its 2025-26 Graduate Associate Leadership award recipients and DEALL's PhD Candidate Ai-Ling Lu was included on this short list of outstanding graduate student leaders. 

This award, one of the most prestigious given to Ohio State Graduate Students, "honors students who demonstrate strong leadership qualities through collaboration, ethical decision-making, adaptability and a commitment to serving others". 

Ai-Ling, who successfully defended her PhD dissertation last month, has been a wonderful student, teacher, researcher, and community member during her time in the department. We wish her well as she graduates in a few weeks and continues on to her next adventure!
