DEALL Participates in CLLC World Language Party

The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures (DEALL) participated in the Center for Languages, Literatures and Cultures (CLLC) World Language Party on October 22, 2026, in Hagerty Hall and the Crane Café. The annual event brings together students enrolled in introductory language courses (1101-1103) and provides opportunities to learn about language programs, study abroad experiences, and campus resources.

Representing DEALL at the event were Danielle Pyun, Xuan Ye, Han Kim, and Etsuyo Yuasa. Throughout the evening, they spoke with more than 40 students studying Chinese (10), Japanese (11), and Korean (20), answering questions about language course offerings, majors and minors, study abroad opportunities, career pathways, and other resources available through DEALL.

The World Language Party also featured a study abroad panel, where students shared their international experiences and offered advice to prospective participants. The event provided an engaging environment for language learners to connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students while exploring opportunities to deepen their global and intercultural knowledge.

DEALL appreciates CLLC's organization of this event and looks forward to welcoming many of these students into upper-level language courses and programs in the future.
