DEALL'er Chunsheng Yang is promoted to Full Professor at U of Connecticut!

DEALL alumnus Chunsheng (George) Yang (Ph.D. 2011, Chinese Linguistics), currently Associate Professor of Chinese and Applied Linguistics in the Department of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages at University of Connecticut, has been promoted to Full Professor beginning this fall 2025! Our heartiest congratulations! 
 
Professor Yang's research and teaching pertain to Chinese linguistics, second language acquisition, second language phonetics and phonology, applied linguistics, computer-assisted language teaching and learning, and Chinese pedagogy in general. He has published numerous articles over the years, in addition to his 2016 book, The Acquisition of Second Language Mandarin Prosody: From Experimental Studies to Pedagogical Practice (Amsterdam: John Benjamins Publishing Company) and a recently edited volume in 2021, The Acquisition of Chinese as a Second Language Pronunciation: Segments and Prosody (Springer).
