Japanese Program News: Celebrating Our Three Outstanding Contest Participants
We are delighted to recognize Logan Conrad, Jacob Strange, and Ky Verona for their excellent participation in the 2026 Ohio Japanese Speech Contest, hosted by the Japan‑America Society of Central Ohio (JASCO). The event was held on March 21, 2026, at The Ohio State University.
Each of our students brought dedication, creativity, and strong Japanese language skills to a contest that highlights achievement in Japanese study across the state. Their commitment reflects the hard work they have put into their language learning and the pride they take in sharing their voices on a public stage.

We are proud of the confidence, thoughtfulness, and cultural engagement each student demonstrated. Their participation not only showcased their linguistic abilities but also reflected the spirit of global connection that the contest aims to promote.
Congratulations to all three students for representing our program with such distinction!
