DEALL offered Levels 1 and 2 Japanese in the SPEAC Program in Summer 2025, and fourteen students successfully completed the program. In SPEAC, students take summer intensive Japanese courses and study the materials that normally take one year to learn within eight weeks in an immersive environment. The fourteen students worked hard and improved their Japanese skills greatly with Kuwai-sensei, Terada-sesei, Wakita-sensei, and Kageyama-sensei. 

Japanese is a great language to learn in Ohio, as Japan is the top direct investor of the State of Ohio, and there are close to 70,000 jobs in Japanese companies throughout Ohio.
