Ayane Shigenobu is an M.A. student in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at The Ohio State University. She received her B.A. in Education from the University of Tokyo and previously taught Japanese at Oberlin College. Her teaching experience sparked a broader interest in the study of language and communication, leading her to pursue graduate research in Japanese language education and linguistics.
