Japanese 2231

The aim of this course is to expose students to an overview of the elements of Japanese culture - language, literature, history, art, religion, philosophy, and social institutions. Successful students will gain a basic understanding of these aspects of Japanese culture. This class is a mix of lectures and discussions in English.
