Bing Mu Receives NFMLTA/NCOLTCL Research Award
Our PhD student Bing Mu was selected as one of the five recipients of this year’s NFMLT/NCOLTCL (National Federation of Modern Language Teachers’ Association/National Council of Less Commonly Taught Languages) Research Award. This award is to provide resources to outstanding PhD students in the field of second language teaching and learning of less commonly taught languages (all languages except English, Spanish, French, and German) across the country to support their dissertation writing. Bing’s dissertation is to understand intentions in cross-cultural communicative situations and apply this notion of intention to Chinese as a Foreign Language (CFL) Teaching.
