Congratulations to Carlos L. Pimentel for being tenured and promoted to associate professor of Japanese at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo, in 2022. Carlos received his Ph.D. from DEALL in 2014 (advisor M. Nakayama), and was hired as an assistant professor by WMU in 2014.  Prior to WMU, he was teaching Japanese at the University of Maryland.
