Yawei Li received a 2021-2022 Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA). Yawei is a PhD student in DEALL and studies Chinese language pedagogy under the guidance of Professor Galal Walker. The GATA is “Ohio State’s highest recognition of the exceptional teaching provided by graduate students serving as Graduate Teaching Associates.” In DEALL, Yawei has taught at every level of the language program in both regular and intensive formats. Steven Knicely, who supervises Yawei in DEALL, says “Ms. Li is as dedicated and proficient an instructor as I have ever worked with.
