Professor Patricia Sieber of DEALL was quoted in a September 23, 2013 article ("Chinese philosophy lifts off in America") that appeared in the Chronicle of Higher Education.  In response to the increasing popularity of Chinese philosophy in the US, Sieber discussed the prospect of adding a Chinese-philosophy faculty member to the East Asian Studies community at OSU.  The article also mentions DEALL's large-enrollment general education course "East Asian Humanities."
