Galal Walker received the Walton Lifetime Achievement Award

Dr. Galal Walker (Professor in Chinese) was awarded the 2012 Cheng and Tsui “Walton Lifetime Achievement Award” for his outstanding contributions to the field of Chinese language pedagogy. He received this award at the annual Chinese Language Teachers Association (CLTA) General Membership Meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 17, 2012. Present to convey their sincere congratulations to Dr. Walker and to celebrate CLTA’s 50th anniversary were over 20 graduates of DEALL, literally spanning decades of instruction at OSU.
