Students will have the chance to view films from around the world for free!January's feature is Juzo Itami's Tampopo (trailer).The event will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at 7 p.m. in the Gateway Film Center. Admission is FREE for students with a BuckID and offered at regular admission to non-students. The first 30 students will receive free popcorn and soda!)This month will also be hosted by the Council of Graduate Students (CGS). Following the film, there will be a discussion led by Dr. Kerim Yasar, a Japanese film expert, and a Japanese food tasting session.The film tells the story of two Japanese milk-truck drivers who help a widowed restaurant owner learn how to make the best noodles in town.
